Color Psychology

The main color of focus in this picture is brown. According to color psychology brown represents earth a lot of the time. If it's light brown (like in my picture) it implies genuineness. The picture is of the bristles of a broom. Because they are brown and brown represents all that I said above, the broom could be seen as cleaning the earth. There's a lot of earthly problems right now but this could be seen as a step towards cleaning it which would make it genuine.

Blue can be seen as a calming and relaxing color when it's in the right setting or the right shade. But sometimes it is also seen as a depressing color. In this case it's meant as calming. My point of capturing this as a photo was because whenever I look at these blue flower spheres, it just kind of stare at them so I thought if I captured a good picture of it, it could still give off the same effect.

Green is a relaxing color and sometimes even lazy. I love the color of the pot on the stove. It really is relaxing and slightly lazy because just looking at it I feel like there's lightly simmering food in the pot in a kind of lazy and relaxing way. Hopefully that's what the picture looks like to everyone else.

Orange is a very positive color. When looking at it there is supposed to be a positive appeal. This picture is very bright but I think it coveys the positive effect message with the oranges.

Your ideas are interesting, but your lighting is mainly incadescent and I wonder how planned your photos are.
